Description

We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our team in Hollywood, Florida, supporting in various legal and administrative tasks. This is a long-term contract position offering an opportunity to work on diverse legal matters, including real estate transactions, zoning, and land use. The role is fully on-site, with a Monday through Thursday schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and provide detailed analysis to support case preparation and decision-making.

• Assist with transactional matters, including drafting and reviewing real estate and zoning-related documents.

• Collaborate with attorneys on land use planning and multi-property transactions.

• Prepare and organize legal documentation to ensure compliance with city regulations.

• Manage administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and maintaining case records.

• Support zoning and planning projects by gathering and analyzing relevant data.

• Perform manual research on specific legal issues to assist with case strategy.

• Coordinate with city departments to ensure seamless communication and task execution.

• Participate in in-person interviews and clearances as required for city-related legal projects.

• Maintain an organized work environment while adhering to deadlines.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in government or real estate law.

• Strong knowledge of zoning, planning, and land use regulations.

• Hands-on experience with transactional matters, including real estate and multi-property transactions.

• Proficiency in conducting manual and legal research with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with city regulations and legal procedures is a plus.

• Must be available to work fully on-site Monday through Thursday.
