Description
Our client a pioneering company in the biotech industry committed to advancing innovation and improving lives, is looking for a motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. This is a perfect opportunity for a detail-oriented professional passionate about HR operations and eager to contribute to a dynamic and purpose-driven work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide day-to-day HR operational support, including maintaining employee records, managing HRIS systems, and processing employment documentation.
+ Coordinate candidate interviews, communicate with applicants, and oversee onboarding processes to ensure a positive candidate and new-hire experience.
+ Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures, directing more complex issues to the appropriate HR team member.
+ Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of data and resolve any discrepancies.
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by maintaining accurate documentation and supporting audits.
+ Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives such as team-building events, recognition programs, and training sessions.
+ Support special HR projects, including diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee satisfaction surveys, and HR process improvements to meet organizational goals.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field preferred.
+ 1-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the biotech or life sciences industry.
+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Highly detail-oriented and customer-service focused.
+ Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
+ HR certifications, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, are a plus.
