Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Davie, Florida. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise in managing financial operations and ensuring accuracy in all accounting processes. The role involves overseeing a variety of accounting functions, including payables, receivables, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end accounting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and accurate invoicing.

• Supervise and collaborate with a team member to maintain smooth accounting operations.

• Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Review and post transactions to the general ledger, maintaining accurate financial records.

• Prepare and assist with month-end close activities to ensure timely reporting.

• Verify that invoices are correct and resolve any discrepancies as needed.

• Utilize accounting software, with training provided for specific tools, to manage financial data efficiently. Requirements • Proven experience with account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger processes and journal entry preparation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

• Demonstrated ability to manage month-end close processes.

• Experience with bank reconciliations and ensuring financial accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills to handle multiple responsibilities.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
