Description

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our dynamic manufacturing company in Natick, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide essential support to our in-house legal team by handling corporate governance, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, and drafting and reviewing contracts. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex legal matters in a collaborative environment, contributing to the efficiency and regulatory adherence of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and revise Corporate Data Agreements (CDAs) to ensure accuracy and compliance, escalating potential risks to attorneys when necessary.

• Support the organization’s compliance with data privacy regulations by assisting in the creation and updates of privacy policies and procedures.

• Monitor changes in privacy and data security laws, providing updates and guidance to the legal team on regulatory developments.

• Coordinate corporate governance activities, such as preparing board meeting materials, drafting resolutions, and maintaining corporate records.

• Manage and organize legal documentation within company systems to ensure accessibility and accuracy.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address legal concerns and provide guidance on regulatory matters.

• Facilitate contract management processes, including drafting and negotiating agreements related to corporate and commercial transactions.

• Assist in implementing legal technology tools and systems that enhance document management and compliance tracking.

Requirements • Proven experience as a corporate paralegal, ideally within an in-house legal team or corporate setting.

• Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, with the ability to support compliance initiatives effectively.

• Expertise in corporate governance tasks, including board coordination, record keeping, and compliance filings.

• Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents, particularly contracts such as CDAs.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

• Paralegal certification or a comparable educational background is preferred.

• Familiarity with legal technology tools, contract management platforms, or systems supporting data privacy compliance.
