Description We are looking for an experienced Python Application Developer to join our dynamic team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various business and operations teams to design innovative solutions and full-stack applications that enhance business workflows and analytical capabilities. This position offers the unique opportunity to drive process optimization and automation while contributing to upskilling team members and improving existing tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and modernize automation workflows by transitioning Excel-based processes into Python-based solutions.

• Collaborate directly with operations and commercial teams to create market-focused analytical tools and applications, incorporating user feedback for continuous improvement.

• Manage the full lifecycle of various projects, from requirement analysis to delivery, ensuring alignment with business needs.

• Propose and implement innovative technical solutions to optimize existing processes and identify new opportunities for improvement.

• Lead efforts to upskill team members in Python, ensuring mission-critical scripts are effectively productionized.

• Build expertise in organizational platforms and tools, serving as a key resource for functionality and integration within the business.

• Partner with IT and business teams to refine processes and optimize tools, ensuring alignment with evolving business requirements.

• Establish robust feedback mechanisms to enhance the utilization of existing tools and platforms. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in full-stack Python and React development.

• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Plotly Dash, Streamlit, SQLModel, and Pydantic.

• Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Passion for Python and React development, with a commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies.

• Working knowledge of TypeScript React is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Mantine React Components and Tanstack React Query/Router is advantageous.

• Experience with leveraging organizational tools and AI prompt engineering is a plus. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
