Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Attorney/Lawyer to join a vibrant and growing law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience handling litigation cases across diverse areas, including construction, employment, and business disputes. This role requires a strong ability to manage complex cases and deliver high-quality legal services to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in construction, employment, business, and general litigation matters.

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as WestLaw to support case strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions.

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery and eDiscovery processes using platforms like Nextpoint.

• Maintain accurate documentation and case files using systems such as NetDocs and Centerbase.

• Prepare for and attend court hearings, mediations, and depositions.

• Ensure compliance with billable hour requirements while maintaining high-quality work.

• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding legal risks and opportunities.

• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to litigation practices.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.

• Solid experience in litigation.

• Expertise in construction litigation, employment litigation, and business litigation.

• Familiarity with legal research platforms like WestLaw and document management systems such as NetDocs and Centerbase.

• Experience working with eDiscovery tools like Nextpoint.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective advocacy.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Licensed to practice law in the state of North Carolina.
