Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. This position will play a critical role in supporting financial operations by analyzing data, automating processes, and providing actionable insights. The ideal candidate will work closely with various teams to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and financial models to monitor performance and identify trends.

• Collaborate with accounting and business units to interpret financial data and provide actionable recommendations.

• Streamline financial reporting processes through automation using tools like Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.

• Review and analyze contract terms to ensure compliance with financial regulations and project requirements.

• Conduct variance and trend analysis to explain shifts in key financial metrics such as revenue and expenses.

• Present financial and operational analyses to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Identify opportunities to improve cost management and operational efficiency through data-driven insights.

• Support the implementation and optimization of cost and budget planning tools.

• Ensure all financial reporting aligns with regulatory requirements and organizational standards. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Technology, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of experience in finance analysis, project budgeting, or cost management.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.

• Proficiency in Excel and experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Hands-on experience with Quickbase or similar project budgeting software.

• Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights clearly to diverse audiences.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with tools like Oracle, SharePoint, or Smartsheet is a plus. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
