    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly reconciliations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to the financial operations of our organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process payroll using QuickBooks and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.

    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, collections, and vendor payments.

    • Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements, including bank and credit card accounts.

    • Oversee tax preparation tasks and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

    • Handle cash flow analysis and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.

    • Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both digitally and on paper.

    • Assist in preparing the annual budget and monitor financial performance against projections.

    • Utilize Deltek and other accounting software to manage daily bookkeeping tasks.

    • Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed.

    • Implement system upgrades in Deltek after becoming familiar with the software.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar bookkeeping role.

     

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Deltek accounting software.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting systems.

    • Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Experience with tax preparation and compliance.

    • Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
