    Description We are looking for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your expertise in financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of accounting principles and thrive in a detail-oriented environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable operations to ensure accuracy and timely processing.

    • Perform bank reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records.

    • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accurate tracking of all financial transactions.

    • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly financial close process.

    • Assist in executing month-end close procedures to meet reporting deadlines.

    • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP to manage financial data.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial reporting and compliance.

    • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records promptly and efficiently.

    • Generate periodic financial reports to assist management in decision-making. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger management.

    • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and managing month-end close activities.

    • Hands-on experience with accounting software, including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.

    • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in financial tasks.

    • Familiarity with standard accounting principles and practices.

    • Effective communication and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
