Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Grant Accountant to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing grant accounting processes while ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage accounting activities related to foundation, private, and government grants.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of grant financials in compliance with regulatory and organizational policies.

• Utilize Sage Intacct to maintain and analyze financial data for grant-related projects.

• Process payroll for an organization with over 500 employees using ADP systems.

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Collaborate with program managers and stakeholders to align financial planning with grant requirements.

• Conduct audits and reconciliations to ensure proper allocation and utilization of grant funds.

• Develop and implement best practices for grant accounting and financial management.

• Provide guidance and training to staff on grant compliance and accounting procedures. Requirements • Proven experience in grant accounting, particularly with foundation, private, and government grants.

• Proficiency in Sage Intacct for financial management and reporting.

• Hands-on experience with payroll processing for large organizations, preferably using ADP systems.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to manage complex financial data.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus.
