Description

We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and oversee the financial strategy and operations of our organization in Sevierville, Tennessee. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with extensive expertise in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. The CFO will play a critical role in ensuring financial stability, guiding capital management decisions, and supporting the company’s growth initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Direct all financial operations, including accounting, auditing, budgeting, and forecasting, to align with organizational goals.

• Develop and implement financial strategies that optimize cash flow and capital management.

• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage month-end close procedures, journal entries, and financial reporting activities.

• Prepare complex financial models and conduct detailed cash flow analysis to support decision-making.

• Lead KPI reporting efforts to monitor and improve financial performance.

• Drive financial planning for commercial construction projects and real estate ventures.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage audits effectively.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to provide insights and recommendations for business growth.

• Utilize accounting software systems, including Great Plains Accounting, to streamline operations.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial leadership role.

• Advanced proficiency in accounting functions, auditing, and financial modeling.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting.

• Expertise in capital management and cash flow analysis.

• Experience with commercial construction projects and real estate accounting.

• CPA designation and a university degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Excel and Great Plains Accounting.

• Familiarity with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and month-end close processes.
