Join the front lines in the fight against financial crime and make a global impact as an expert Financial Crimes Compliance Analyst! We are looking for skilled candidates to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding the financial system by identifying and analyzing potential risks related to money laundering and financial crimes. This is a long-term contract position within the financial services industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to compliance efforts and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate alerts from transaction monitoring systems to identify unusual or suspicious activity.

• Review and analyze customer transactional behavior to detect inconsistencies and deviations from expected norms.

• Conduct follow-ups on flagged transactions and perform due diligence to verify their legitimacy.

• Document investigation findings clearly and concisely for submission to senior compliance personnel or regulatory authorities.

• Collaborate with internal departments to gather information for customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence processes.

• Stay informed on current anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and apply them effectively in daily operations.

• Participate in ongoing training programs to remain updated on regulatory changes and compliance best practices.

• Work closely with the technology team to optimize transaction monitoring systems and improve detection capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial crime compliance or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, business, economics, or accounting preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills for documenting findings and collaborating with team members.

• Advanced Data Entry skills.
