Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for helping others? Robert Half is seeking a Medical Receptionist to serve as the welcoming face of a local organization and play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

+ Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming and professional environment.

+ Schedule patient appointments and manage calendars for medical providers.

+ Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and route calls to the appropriate departments.

+ Verify patient information, process intake forms, and ensure accurate medical records management.

+ Coordinate communication between medical staff, patients, and other departments.

+ Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and manage insurance verification tasks.

+ Maintain a clean and organized reception area to provide a positive experience for all visitors.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in medical administration is a plus.

+ Previous experience in a medical receptionist or healthcare-related role preferred.

+ Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-focused attitude.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office management tools.

+ Exceptional organizational skills along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment.

+ Knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance practices preferred.
