    Job Summary:

    The Funding Closer is responsible for preparing and reviewing closing packages, ensuring all documents are accurate and compliant with company policies, federal and state regulations, and investor guidelines. This role requires close collaboration with referral partners, underwriters, portfolio managers, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely deal closings.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Review approvals and closing conditions to ensure all stipulations have been satisfied prior to closing.

    + Prepare and assemble closing documentation, including Closing Disclosure (CD), notes, and other relevant forms.

    + Coordinate with referral partners and merchants to schedule and finalize closings.

    + Conduct funding calls to review the terms of contracts with clients.

    + Analyze month-to-date bank statements to confirm that revenue and run rates align with approved figures.

    + Confirm funding availability and verify adherence to wire instructions.

    + Ensure key details—such as terms, interest rates, and fees—are accurate and compliant with regulations.

    + Perform quality checks on documents before and after closings.

    + Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues that might delay or prevent closings.

    + Ensure all deals are closed and funded in accordance with internal policies.

    + Maintain organized and thorough records of all closing documentation.

    Requirements

    Knowledge and Skills:

    + Develop a deep understanding of funding processes, regulations, and merchant needs.

    + Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and sales skills.

    + Demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

    + Be proficient with technology and financial software.
