Description
We are in search of an Assistant Controller to join our team in Fresno County. This Assistant Controller role is crucial within our accounting and corporate office, which focuses on property management and hospitality. This contract position offers a long-term employment opportunity where you will work in conjunction to reach strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing and managing payables and receivables
• Maintaining and updating financial statements monthly for the entities
• Collaborating with the CPA to provide necessary documents for tax planning
• Supervising the payroll process and employee orientation
• Ensuring accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Keeping precise customer credit records
• Utilizing accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks, for various accounting functions
• Conducting balance sheet account reconciliation and month-end close activities
• Undertaking financial planning and analysis (FP& A) tasks
• Ensuring all financial reporting adheres to US GAAP standards.

Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory
• Extensive knowledge and practical experience with Accounting Functions
• Proven expertise in Auditing
• Demonstrable skills in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Month End Close procedures is required
• Proficiency in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is essential
• Must have a solid background in Financial Reporting
• Familiarity with US GAAP guidelines is a must
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
