Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a strong technical background and a passion for solving problems.
+ Respond to user requests for technical assistance via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system
+ Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other systems
+ Set up and configure new equipment for employees (e.g., computers, monitors, peripherals)
+ Support remote users with VPN, remote desktop, and mobile device access
+ Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software
+ Document internal procedures and update knowledge base articles
+ Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support staff or third-party vendors
+ Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
+ Assist in onboarding/offboarding of employees and managing user accounts
+ Follow up with users to ensure issues have been resolved
Requirements
+ Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
+ 2+ years of experience in a technical support/help desk role
+ Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common IT tools
+ Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow)
+ Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
+ Strong communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure
+ Customer service mindset with a problem-solving attitude
