    Description We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee financial transactions, purchasing activities, and office operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This position is ideal for professionals with strong organizational skills and a proven track record in bookkeeping and procurement.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process invoices, payments, and monthly billing statements with precision and timeliness.

    • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable to maintain smooth financial operations.

    • Maintain and update accurate financial records in line with established accounting practices.

    • Place and monitor purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to procurement needs.

    • Coordinate with vendors to negotiate pricing, address order discrepancies, and foster positive supplier relationships.

    • Keep inventory records up-to-date and facilitate re-orders to prevent shortages.

    • Handle customer orders, ensuring accurate documentation and proper fulfillment processes.

    • Organize office operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving activities.

    • Implement efficient filing systems for financial and procurement documentation.

    • Assist with other administrative and operational tasks as needed to support business objectives. Requirements • A minimum of 6 years of experience in bookkeeping, purchasing, or administrative office roles.

    • High school diploma required; additional certifications in accounting or procurement are preferred.

    • Proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable accounting software.

    • Strong skills in account reconciliation, payroll, and month-end close processes.

    • Expertise in managing purchase orders and vendor relationships.

    • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite tools.

    • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
