    Description

    We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized HR Coordinator to join a leading construction company in Rancho Bernardo, CA. This role is critical in supporting HR operations for a growing organization known for excellence in construction projects and a commitment to employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a blend of HR experience and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Recruitment and Onboarding:

    + Coordinate end-to-end recruitment efforts, including posting job advertisements, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.

    + Assist hiring managers with candidate selection and offer letter preparation.

    + Manage onboarding processes, including completing new hire documentation, conducting orientation sessions, and scheduling safety training for construction workers.

    HR Administration:

    + Maintain employee records in compliance with company and regulatory standards using HRIS software like ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms.

    + Ensure all employment and payroll documentation is accurate and submitted to payroll on time.

    + Prepare and monitor paperwork for union employees (if applicable), including benefits, dues, and other union-related considerations.

    Compliance and Reporting:

    + Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, OSHA regulations, and internal policies specific to the construction industry.

    + Compile reports on workforce metrics, such as turnover rates, training compliance, and headcount for internal audits.

    Employee Relations and Engagement:

    + Act as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns. Escalate complex issues when necessary to senior HR management.

    + Assist in preparing and rolling out employee programs, such as wellness initiatives, benefits awareness sessions, and team-building activities.

    + Help facilitate investigations and recommend resolutions for on-site grievances.

    Requirements

    + 2–4 years of previous HR generalist or coordinator experience, preferably in construction or a related field.

    + Proficiency in HR software such as ADP, BambooHR, or similar systems.

    + Working knowledge of California labor law, OSHA requirements, and workplace safety standards.

    + Strong organizational and communication skills to support multiple teams simultaneously.

    + Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
