Description We are looking for an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join a dynamic architecture and engineering firm in Jacksonville, Florida. This newly created position offers the opportunity to drive financial strategy and reporting in a growing, private equity-backed organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, building processes from the ground up while partnering with leadership to provide actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Lead comprehensive financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial planning.

• Develop and deliver accurate and timely financial reports tailored to the needs of executive leadership and private equity stakeholders.

• Build and manage financial models, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor business performance and support decision-making.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business unit leaders to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

• Ensure adherence to private equity reporting standards, maintaining transparency and accuracy in financial disclosures.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within FP& A functions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Support financial evaluations and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

• Partner directly with senior leadership to inform and shape critical business decisions.

• Establish tools and systems to streamline financial analysis and reporting processes. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.

• Significant experience in FP& A, particularly within companies with annual revenue between $50M and $300M.

• Industry expertise in architecture, engineering, construction, or services requiring attention to detail is preferred.

• Familiarity with private equity-backed organizations and their reporting requirements.

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, reporting tools, and software such as Excel, Adaptive Insights, or Power BI.

• Demonstrated success in building or scaling FP& A processes in a growing business environment.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.

• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
