Description

Our client, one of the largest investor-owned energy and electric companies in the United States, is seeking a Paralegal with a strong background in both the medical and legal fields to support their in-house legal team on a project basis.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Type: Ongoing Temp

Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate and obtain medical records from various healthcare facilities.

+ Ensure timely and accurate delivery of records to opposing counsel.

+ Interpret and manage medical documentation with legal relevance.

+ Support litigation attorneys with case preparation and documentation.

+ Maintain confidentiality and compliance with legal and medical standards.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

+ Law Firm or Medical Facility experience preferred.

+ Prior experience as a medical transcriber or in a similar hybrid medical/legal role.

+ Familiarity with legal terminology and medical documentation.

+ Strong organizational and communication skills.

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests efficiently.

+ Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (in-office Tuesday–Thursday).
