Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Delray Beach, Florida. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency within our organization. The ideal candidate should have experience with accounting systems, invoicing, and payment processing, as well as strong organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including issuing checks and refunds.

• Conduct cash reconciliation and ensure all payments are properly recorded.

• Process payments.

• Update and maintain financial systems to ensure accurate data entry and tracking.

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to manage financial records.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with financial procedures.

• Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Support additional accounting functions as assigned to meet organizational needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with invoice processing and account reconciliation.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Prior experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role preferred.
