Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Rohnert Park, California. In this role, you will process high-volume transactions, manage expense reports, and assist with various accounting tasks to ensure smooth financial operations. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounts payable and experience in manufacturing or wholesale environments.

Responsibilities:

• Process and post non-material invoices and credit memos accurately and efficiently.

• Conduct weekly check runs while investigating and resolving any outstanding checks.

• Review and approve Concur expense reports, ensuring proper documentation and account validation.

• Support the onboarding and offboarding of employees in Concur and other relevant platforms.

• Collaborate with procurement, purchasing, and logistics teams to address any variances.

• Communicate vendor-related updates, such as payment methods or remit addresses, to the Operational Accounting Manager.

• Maintain up-to-date written procedure documentation for all job-related tasks.

• Participate in initiatives to improve processes and enhance operational efficiency.

• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting close activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team. Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• At least three years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a manufacturing or wholesale setting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate-level skills such as pivot tables and formulas.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Concur Expense systems strongly preferred.

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
