Description
We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for one of our clients in Portland, Oregon. This long-term contract position requires a strategic leader who can oversee financial operations, implement efficient reporting systems, and manage relationships with third-party firms. The ideal candidate will bring over seven years of experience to help guide corporate financial strategies and ensure the organization's accounting practices align with its growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement robust financial reporting systems tailored to the organization’s size and needs.
• Oversee corporate accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
• Collaborate with third-party firms to manage controls and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Analyze cash flow and capital management to support long-term financial planning.
• Provide strategic guidance on budgeting processes and investment strategies.
• Utilize expertise in accounting software systems to optimize financial operations.
• Foster strong client relationships and support business development efforts.
• Lead corporate financial analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Address overlooked complexities in financial processes and deliver solutions to improve efficiency.
Requirements • Minimum of seven years of experience in financial leadership roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, including QuickBooks Online.
• Strong expertise in auditing, budgeting, and capital management.
• Demonstrated ability to perform cash flow analysis and oversee complex financial processes.
• Experience managing third-party firms and ensuring proper controls are in place.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to support client relationships and business development.
• Proven ability to lead teams and mentor accounting professionals.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA preferred.
