Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Newport Beach, California. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to oversee and streamline tax processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. If you have a strong background in tax accounting and preparation, this role is an excellent fit for your expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the preparation and review of tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to streamline tax preparation and filing processes.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on tax-related matters.

• Ensure all tax filings meet deadlines and adhere to local, state, and federal requirements.

• Conduct thorough reviews of tax documentation to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.

• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize tax strategies and minimize liabilities.

• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments to processes.

• Assist in audits by preparing required documentation and providing necessary support.

• Develop and implement best practices to enhance efficiency in tax accounting procedures. Requirements • Proven experience as a Tax Manager or in a similar tax-focused role.

• Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software for tax preparation and filing.

• In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.

• Strong background in tax preparation, review, and compliance processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Effective communication and leadership skills to guide team members.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
