    Part Time: Seasonal

     

    Shift: 3 days per week (24-28 hours maximum)

     

    Job purpose

     

    Rental Property & Marina Maintenance staff will support the maintenance and operations of our Airbnb property, which includes oversight of marina-related activities. The ideal candidate will take pride in property care, enjoy outdoor work, and assist with a range of guest services tied to both the vacation rental and marina facilities providing exceptional customer service to boaters and guests.

     

    Duties and responsibilities

     

    Property & Airbnb

     

    + Daily facilities inspections

    + Coordinate with cleaning staff to ensure rentals are ready for occupancy (lighting, water, safety equipment, etc.)

    + Perform light maintenance on buildings/systems/properties to keep them in operating condition – to include but not limited to painting, changing filters, fixing minor issues)

    + Assist with trash removal, lawn care, and outdoor upkeep.

    + Monitor supply stock and report when items need replenishing.

    + Ensure all amenities are in working order before quest check-in and after quest check out.

     

    Marina Operations

     

    + Inspect docks, moorings, and marina structures for safety and function.

    + Ensure fuel pump is operational, clean, and pricing is correct.

    + Maintain cleanliness and order on docks and shoreline.

    + Monitor watercrafts use and enforce marina guidelines.

    + Monitor launch admission and parking.

    + Regular Attendance & Punctuality

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    + Ability to swim and work near or on the water .

    + Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

    + Previous experience in property maintenance, landscaping, or marina work is a plus.

    + Comfortable with physical labor in outdoor conditions

    + Basic understanding of boats and marina operations preferred

    + Effective communication and problem-solving skills

    + Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

    + CPR, First Aid, and/or boating certifications a plus.

    Physical requirements

    + Ability to lift, push or pull 50 lbs.

    + Ability to perform physical tasks including walking docks, and handling dock lines.

    + Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
