The University of Miami, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, has an exciting full time opportunity for a Clinical Program Coordinator in Miami, Florida.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Evaluates program effectiveness, analyzes results, and recommends appropriate action.2. Coordinates program activities with other program, department or staff activities, ensuring optimum efficiency.3. Trains, develops, and empowers staff to effectively perform their jobs.4. Acts as a main point of contact for project funders, advisors, speakers, and participants, and recruits program participants, members, and volunteers.5. Develops cooperative relationships with patients and families by projecting a positive image and creating a professional atmosphere.6. Develops program communications and promotional literature for distribution, including newsletters, brochures, and flyers.7. Prepares periodic reports, financial statements, and records for management or outside agencies.8. Maintains patient confidentiality as well as the confidentiality of hospital business information.9. Oversees the maintenance of established supply levels in unit and supply rooms.10. Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Certification and Licensing:Not Applicable
Experience:Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.• Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure.• Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
