General Description
This position provides Senior Enterprise Architecture support to Air Force Reserve Command headquarters personnel at Robins AFB, GA. The successful candidate provides enterprise architecture analysis and development to support the enhancement and management of Air Force Reserve (AFR) software applications, systems, and the overall AFRC Enterprise Architecture. This requirement includes creating solutions that integrate existing and evolving governance, EA tools, frameworks, methodologies, models, and artifacts, with the goal of utilizing EA to eliminate redundancy, build efficiency, and optimize the utilization of reserve command resources.
Duties and responsibilities The successful candidate will perform the following:
+ Partner with government personnel and working groups to develop enterprise and segment architectures, plans, and roadmaps that support a “future view” of technology implementation.
+ Provide architectural recommendations as a contributor to the Requirements Management Process, Portfolio Management Process, and Enterprise Architecture Board.
+ Conduct enterprise-wide and cross-domain data and architectural analyses and reviews.
+ Facilitate changes to policy and make recommendations to address integration challenges by adapting legacy systems to new technology.
Specialized Knowledge
The successful candidate will have knowledge and expertise in the following areas:
+ Knowledge and expertise in EA methods and the current DoDAF framework
+ Knowledge and understanding of various EA modeling tools, including Sparx EA.
+ Experience working across organizations to achieve integration and governance for improved enterprise-wide technical investments, change management, governance, and information-sharing.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related fields of study .
Professional Certifications
None required.
Clearance
Either hold or can acquire a security clearance
Experience
5+ years’ experience working in Enterprise Architecture.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Other Characteristics (e.g., Personal or Language)
Excellent oral and written communication in English. Must be able to work in a team environment with members that include personnel from other companies, Government program management and administrative personnel, and technical staff members.
This position may require travel of up to one week per quarter.
Working conditions, including location
Four days each week on-site at Robins AFB, GA, with Friday as a standard teleworking day.
Client duty hours are Monday through Friday.
Salary
135k – 147k Annually
