Sr. Coordinator, Hospital Marketing

This is a hybrid position based out of the Banfield Pet Hospital headquarters in Vancouver, WA.
Salary Range: $24.59 - $33.81/hour (DOE)
Summary and Qualifications:
Supports the Sr. Specialist, Regional Hospital Marketing and Hospital Marketing Director in delivering on our practice goals through comp hospital growth, new hospital openings and acquisitions.
Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
+ Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
+ Support Sr. Specialist, Regional Hospital Marketing in executing tactics for participation in local events including:
+ Collaborating with event organizer to register, provide payment and request certificate of insurance.
+ Coach hospitals in ordering of materials, staffing the event and other event support.
+ Track event budgets and provide monthly metrics on participation and performance.
+ Coordinate with creative team to supply ads, fliers, web banner ads, as needed.
+ Support Sr. Specialist, Regional Hospital Marketing in executing tactics for the grand opening of hospitals: Ordering posters, fliers, custom hospital collateral, mailings and managing the grand opening marketing pallet, adding and deleting items as needed.
+ Streamline event and grand opening processes and materials to ensure cost efficiency and ease of execution.
+ Support the Specialist, Hospital Marketing HAI in the integration process for our acquired hospitals by assisting in digital transition including website transfer, existing vendor relationships. Manage pallet lists and shipments to align with integration timeline.
+ Help hospital teams regarding orders for print collateral including tracking and placing orders.
+ Assist the Director, Brand and Hospital Marketing in managing print inventory, reorders and print spend.
+ Assist the Specialist, Hospital Marketing HAI in execution of the acquisition pipeline marketing plan including:
+ Reserving media, working with creative team for artwork, creating collateral, etc.
+ Reviewing hospital prospects, managing mail lists and coordinating prospect mailings.
+ Support digital marketing tactics such as paid search and LinkedIn.
+ Assist hospitals on the Web-to-Print system; answering questions on use.
+ Create purchase orders, process invoices and track expenditures.
+ Update internal systems – store profiling, pet adoptions rewards program, resource library.
+ Work cross-functionally with other teams (Operations, Commercial, Corporate Affairs, Talent Acquisition, People & Organization) as needed.
+ Other job duties as assigned.
Special Working Conditions:
+ Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
+ Project timelines and work volume / deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.
+ Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics, and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
+ Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
+ Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 25 pounds.
+ Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
+ The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
+ Environment where pets are present.
Experience, Education and/or Training:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Communications or Marketing is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
+ Two years of event coordination experience are required.
+ Experience with marketing concepts, creating marketing collateral, reserving media, working with creative, etc. is required.
+ Banfield hospital experience is preferred.
