Job Title:** **Warehouse Associate/ Forklift (Sit down)

**Reports to:** Warehouse Supervisor or Manager

**Hourly:** $23

**Location:** San Leandro

**Status:** Temp to perm

**Schedule:** _M-F_ 12pm-5pm

**Overtime:** Mandatory

Summary:

A Warehouse employee is responsible for ensuring stock on shelves is replenished and for stocking material when received. This includes unloading material from delivery trucks and placing it into stock using the RF gun system, plus cutting wire as specified from customer orders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

+ **Down stocking:** Replenishing stock using RF gun to move material from inventory to primary location for order fillers.

+ **Stocking:** Placing material from receiving department into inventory.

+ **Receiving:**

+ Unload material from delivery trucks.

+ Count material and compare to the bill of lading.

+ Use RF gun to scan material into inventory.

+ Date stamp, initial, and file order for management’s review.

+ **Shipping:**

+ Package, wrap, and ship all UPS, FedEx, and air carrier materials to customers nationwide and overseas.

+ **Return Goods Authorization:** Handle all returns from customers and branches as approved by management.

+ **Forklift Operation:**

+ Drive forklift to unload material from delivery trucks.

+ Stock and load pallet racking.

+ Use RF gun to check for material from the prior day that needs to be returned to inventory.

+ Review tickets for wire cuts to ensure wire can be cut from the specified location; update location manually if needed and notify Inventory Manager.

+ Use Wemco machine to measure wire cuts to proper length; use coil machine to coil wire as needed.

+ Down stock wire into primary locations as needed.

+ Clean warehouse daily: sweep, pick up, and empty trash.

+ Provide backup for:

+ Will Call department

+ Wire cutting

+ Delivery (driving)

Certificates & Licenses:

+ Forklift Certified/ prefereed

Physical Demands:

+ Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk or hear.

+ Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

+ Must regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds.
