    Adecco is hiring immediately for **Scale Operators** with our client in **Auburn Hills, MI** . Weekly pay starting at **$17-$19.50 per hour** and competitive benefits with options such as medical, dental, vision, and more.     As a **Scale Operator** , you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound traffic at the facility’s scale house, accurately weighing vehicles, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with all safety and operational procedures. This role involves both administrative and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Operate truck scales to record the weight of incoming and outgoing vehicles.

    + Issue and manage weight tickets, manifests, and related documentation.

    + Accurately input data into the facility’s operating system for record-keeping and reporting.

    + Communicate clearly with drivers regarding procedures, site safety rules, and traffic flow.

    + Monitor vehicle loads for compliance with regulations and company policies.

    + Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the scale house and surrounding area.

    + Assist with customer service inquiries and direct visitors as needed.

    + Support site operations with administrative tasks as assigned.

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Prior experience in a scale house, logistics, or waste management environment preferred.

    + Basic computer skills and experience with data entry systems.

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    + Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    + Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Ability to sit for extended periods in a scale house environment.

    + Occasional walking outdoors in varying weather conditions to inspect loads or direct traffic.

    **Pay Details:** $17.00 to $19.50 per hour
