Adecco is hiring an Administrative Assistant for our client, a renowned importer and exporter of some of the world’s finest coffees.
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive **Administrative Assistant** to support our day-to-day operations and help us continue our tradition of excellence in the coffee industry.
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant will provide general office support to ensure efficient operation of the business. This individual will handle a variety of tasks related to office management, communication, logistics coordination, and documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
+ Manage general office tasks such as filing, data entry, scanning, and document management
+ Answer and direct phone calls, respond to email inquiries
+ Maintain office supplies and coordinate with vendors for replenishments
+ Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and other documents as needed
Logistics & Operations
+ Assist with tracking coffee shipments, coordinating with logistics providers, warehouses, and customs brokers
+ Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, and related records
+ Monitor inventory levels and assist with order processing
+ Support import/export compliance and documentation
Customer & Vendor Relations
+ Serve as a point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service
+ Maintain organized records of contracts, agreements, and financial documents
Qualifications
+ Previous experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role preferred
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with learning new software
+ Familiarity with import/export processes and documentation a plus
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Pay Details:** $25.00 per hour
