Adecco is currently recruiting for an experienced **Logistics Specialist contractor** to support a growing operation in **Tampa, Florida** . This role is vital to the effective coordination of all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, accurate documentation, and smooth communication across supply chain functions.

**Hours:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

**Pay Range:** **$24/HR- $26.44 per hour** (50-55k), with weekly pay.

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate, schedule, and manage all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

+ Fulfill outbound orders, including picking, packing, and shipping.

+ Organize pickups and deliveries utilizing various transportation modes, including trucks, trains, planes, and ships.

+ Maintain accurate records of all shipments and inventory movements.

+ Work closely with project management to resolve supply chain issues, address discrepancies, and ensure order accuracy.

+ Inspect and maintain shipping equipment and materials to ensure operational readiness.

+ Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and customers to support logistics operations.

+ Uphold safety standards and ensure a clean, organized work environment.

+ Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements within shipping and warehouse operations.

Key Qualifications:

+ **Proven experience in logistics or supply chain coordination, but this is a hands on role.**

+ Strong background in project logistics, with knowledge of DOT regulations, Incoterms, and international freight handling.

+ **Forklift certification required.**

+ **Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.**

+ Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting/moving heavy items as needed.
