Job Skills / Requirements
This role will act as an administrative support and a coordinator with Law Enforcement agencies for off-duty details. This position will be based out of the Corporate Office in Hammond, LA. Much of the job can and will be done remotely, but reporting to the corporate office will be a requirement and some potential travel may also be necessary.
This position works closely with our Board of Directors, Corporate staff, Sales Team, as well as Regional and Branch Managers throughout the company. This role is an integral part of the operation of our company and requires dedication and attention to detail.
This position will have a somewhat flexible schedule, but may have to work nights and weekends, or prolonged hours during our company's emergency & Urgent response efforts. Commitment to these areas and understanding the 24/hour nature of our work is a requirement for this position.
The ideal candidate will be experienced, eager, friendly and professional. We are looking for a real go-getter.
Common Tasks:
+ Coordinating with new Departments
+ New job setup
+ Scheduling setup and oversight
+ Onboarding new employees
+ Additional operational support and oversight
Required Skills:
+ Experience in a professional office environment
+ Willingness/ability to learn new systems
+ Good written and verbal communication skills. Good phone etiquette.
+ Understand and implement current and new processes and policies
+ Good team player, and work well with a diverse workforce
+ Ability to work nights/weekends and long hours when needed
+ Technologically capable and experienced
+ Supervision and Decision-making skills required
+ Self-motivated and can take a task and run with it.
Physical/Mental Requirements:
+ Ability to operate general office equipment.
+ Ability to effectively communicate using verbal and written skills.
+ Ability to make sound decisions.
+ Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working with office equipment.
+ Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds.
