Job Summary

As the Senior Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions in Salesforce, along with integration solutions between Salesforce and other external systems.

Job Description

We are looking for a **Senior Salesforce Developer** to lead the design and development of Salesforce solutions. This position will be **full-time** and a **long-term contract** that is **hybrid** in **Trenton, NJ** .

What You’ll Do

+ Act as a bridge between various program offices to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements

+ Assess user requests to determine feasibility and impact. Prioritize tasks based on business needs and technical constraints to maximize efficiency and resource utilization

+ Gather and document detailed functional requirements and non-functional specifications

+ Design robust, scalable, and high-performing Salesforce solutions. Lead the development and deployment processes to ensure successful implementation and integration with existing systems

+ Conduct thorough testing and validation to verify that systems meet all specified requirements. Implement changes as necessary to address any discrepancies and ensure compliance with technical standards

What You'll Need

Required

+ 7 years of experience in Salesforce declarative environment

+ 7 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration

+ 7 years of experience with Salesforce Web Services APIs - Force.com SOAP and REST-based web service APIs, the BULK API

+ 5 years of Agile development experience

+ Ability to communicate ideas, concepts, and strategies to both technical and non-technical people

+ 5 years of experience documenting application specifications and solutions to satisfy project requirements

+ 7 years of experience identifying and evaluating vendor/partner software and integration strategies

+ 7 years of experience developing and coding solutions to specification

+ Ability to define the system landscape, identify gaps between current and desired end-states and deliver a solution

+ Ability to lead design sessions and communicate design options to clients

+ 5 years of experience identifying and implementing appropriate testing strategies

+ Execute all steps required to deploy/implement the application solution

+ Participate in a self-directed team environment. Collaborate with project team members and QA on development, customer issues, and security requirements

+ 5 years of experience retrieving data from Oracle Database

+ 5 years of experience creating dashboards and reports in Salesforce

+ Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related technical field

Preferred

+ Experience with Metadata API

+ Experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, Javascript

+ Experience in Public Sector Foundation

Physical Demands

+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
