Finance Support Specialist

Job Description

The Finance Support Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support to project managers and team leads, focusing on organizing, coordinating, and documenting project activities related to finance. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. The specialist will also coordinate internal and external communications, schedule meetings, and track project milestones on finance.

Responsibilities

+ Assist project managers and team leads with organizing, coordinating, and documenting project activities.

+ Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports.

+ Ensure all project finance documentation is up to date and compliant with internal and regulatory standards.

+ Coordinate internal and external communications and schedule meetings.

+ Track project milestones related to finance.

+ Input finance data into project management systems.

+ Support data collection for financial reporting and analysis.

+ Utilize tools such as Adobe Sign, Smart Sheets, Excel, PowerPoint, and internal systems to manage timelines, tasks, and documentation.

Essential Skills

+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Adobe Sign, and Smart Sheets.

+ Good communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated environment.

+ Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in finance or accounting.

+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This role is based at an on-site contract manufacturing facility, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The site is growing and plans to add 700 jobs over the next five years, offering the opportunity to extend or convert the position for the right candidate.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
