    As an Order Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing customer orders with precision and efficiency. You will ensure accuracy in pricing, shipping instructions, and quality clauses, while providing acknowledgments and notifications of any changes. Your coordination with various departments will expedite and track orders, ensuring a seamless customer experience.

    Responsibilities

    + Validate customer orders for accuracy in terms of pricing, conformance to minimum order requirements, shipping instructions, terms and conditions, and quality clauses.

    + Provide order acknowledgments and notifications of changes to customers.

    + Coordinate with different areas of the business to expedite and track orders effectively.

    + Ensure all relevant customer information is included in the sales order package.

    + Assist in resolving customer concerns, such as product complaints, late orders, and expedite requests.

    + Participate in bi-weekly Production Planning Meetings to communicate customer order status and identify issues or concerns.

    + Assist in other areas of the organization and identify improvements for order processes and accuracy.

    + Monitor customer portals for RFQ’s and POs as required.

    + Ensure customer service activities conform to relevant standards and specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Spanish and English is beneficial.

    + Experience with ERP systems, particularly in shipping and order entry.

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication and written skills.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

    + Computer literacy in Microsoft Office products.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

    + Ability to identify and implement process improvements.

    Work Environment

    Work in a small manufacturing environment located in Torrance, where collaboration and teamwork are highly valued. The atmosphere is fast-paced, requiring adaptability and a keen attention to detail. Dress code is business casual.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
