    The Material Coordinator is entrusted with maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support production plans. This role involves ordering, receiving, and storing packaging supplies and materials, ensuring that the warehouse remains clean and organized. Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for inventory accuracy, conducting month-end and fiscal year-end stock counts, scheduling, monitoring, and expediting materials. The role requires proficiency in SAP for receiving, tagging materials, and maintaining accurate system records.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain appropriate inventory levels for production plans.

    + Order, receive, and store packaging supplies and materials.

    + Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization.

    + Ensure inventory accuracy of all materials and consumables.

    + Conduct month-end and fiscal year-end stock counts.

    + Schedule, monitor, and expedite materials.

    + Receive and tag materials using SAP Material Tags.

    + Fill out and retain QA inspection records.

    + Manage all movements in SAP including PO creation, GR transactions, and transfers.

    + Maintain housekeeping of system records for accuracy.

    + Ensure stock accuracy of packaging materials and supplies to achieve >95% accuracy.

    + Receive and issue materials for operations such as packaging, milling, maintenance, and minor consumable items.

    + Utilize SAP to create and fill out purchase orders for supplies and services.

    + Include appropriate GL and Cost center information to purchase orders.

    + Ensure asset and department information is included in purchase orders.

    + Fill out appropriate QA forms as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in inventory management within a manufacturing setting (1-2 years minimum).

    + Proficiency in SAP.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office.

    + Bilingual skills are preferred. (Spanish)

    Work Environment

    The role is onsite with approximately 25% of time spent in the plant conducting inventory and 75% in the office. This may vary based on demand and forecast changes. Shift options are available between 6:30 am-8:00 am start and 2:30 pm-4:00 pm end.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
