Job Title: HR GeneralistJob Description

The HR Generalist is responsible for performing a range of administrative functions including employee benefits, recruiting, interviewing, strategic planning, and policy management. This role focuses on enhancing company productivity, increasing performance, and improving business results.

Responsibilities

+ Administer employee benefits and manage employee relations.

+ Conduct recruiting and interviewing processes.

+ Develop and implement strategic HR planning and policy management.

+ Enhance company productivity and improve business results.

+ Provide administrative support in areas such as FMLA, onboarding, and data entry.

+ Ensure compliance with HR policies and California Labor laws.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience in HR.

+ Proficiency in HR administration and HR systems.

+ Experience with Workday (HRIS).

+ Strong data analysis skills.

+ Knowledge of HR policy and CA labor laws.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

+ 2-4 years of customer service-related experience.

+ Familiarity with data analysis.

+ Experience with employee relations.

+ Approachable and empathic demeanor.

+ Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information.

+ Adaptable and solution-oriented.

Work Environment

This position is located at the Building Center and requires onsite presence full-time. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The role thrives in a warehouse/operations environment, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace where employees have the opportunity to shape experiences and contribute meaningfully.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
