    Responsibilities

    + Record journal entries and reconcile complex ledger accounts.

    + Identify opportunities for process improvement.

    + Understand business drivers and their impact on financial results.

    + Ensure accurate reflection of business changes in financial statements.

    + Prepare and maintain accounting records and monthly close activities.

    + Conduct variance analyses and ensure timely explanations.

    + Lead efforts to mine, manipulate, and analyze large volumes of transactional data.

    + Apply accounting concepts and judgment to resolve issues creatively.

    + Establish and maintain accounting control procedures.

    + Produce accurate ad-hoc reporting from multiple data sources.

    + Validate, interpret, and summarize results in meaningful formats.

    + Participate in cross-departmental projects and articulate accounting guidelines.

    + Communicate the impact of new programs or system changes on accounting processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2+ years of accounting or related experience.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

    + Experience in full cycle accounting.

    + Data mining and data analysis skills.

    + Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookups.

    + Understanding of large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as PowerBI, SQL, and Alteryx.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Public accounting or public company experience.

    + CPA preferred

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
