    • What You’ll Do

     

    As a Purchasing Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that our engineering and production teams have the materials and components they need—on time and on spec. Your responsibilities will include:

     

    + Managing vendor relationships and maintaining strong communication with suppliers

    + Assisting in sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and services

    + Tracking inventory levels and ensuring timely replenishment

    + Reviewing and processing purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documents

    + Collaborating with engineering teams to support component selection and risk assessment

    + Ensuring compliance with company standards, timelines, and quality expectations

    •️ Technical Collaboration

    You’ll also work closely with our engineering team on exciting projects, including:

    + Supporting the design of circuit boards for aerospace applications using Altium

    + Engaging in power electronics development and testing

    + Working with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, and Ethernet

    + Assisting in evaluating and mitigating risks in component selection

    • What You Bring

    + Experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative roles

    + Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively

    + High attention to detail and accuracy in order entries and inventory records

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

    + Adaptability to new systems and processes

    + Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach

    • Bonus Points

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

    + Experience in inventory management or customer service

    + Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement software

    • Work Environment

     

    This is a fully on-site position to start, located in a collaborative and innovative workspace. After an initial period, you may be eligible to work one day per week remotely. You’ll report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and work alongside a passionate team of engineers, technicians, and operations professionals.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
