As the Human Resources Training Coordinator, you will oversee and manage training programs, employee development, and compliance processes. You will serve as the primary point of contact for training inquiries and enrollment while ensuring accurate data collection, management, and analysis. Facilitate a smooth onboarding experience for new hires by assigning, tracking, and verifying training completion.
Responsibilities
+ Monitor employee safety training, ensuring timely completion and notifying staff and managers about upcoming requirements or expirations.
+ Assist with New Hire Orientation, providing support to the Human Resources team.
+ Distribute and maintain New Hire checklists, following up for completion.
+ Provide training and technical support on company-wide systems as needed.
+ Organize and coordinate all aspects of training events, including scheduling, enrollments, waitlists, room reservations, lodging, catering, billing, and payments.
+ Manage and update the Learning Management System (LMS), including course creation, record updates, training completion tracking, and password resets.
+ Act as the system administrator for training platforms, overseeing implementation, improvements, and general system maintenance.
+ Prepare and distribute compliance, safety, and training reports.
+ Collaborate with the Safety Team and Training Department on content creation and vendor coordination.
+ Provide employees with safety and compliance information as needed.
+ Maintain inventory of training materials and department resources.
+ Support the Safety Coordinator/Manager with required administrative filings.
+ Assist Human Resources with special projects.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2 years as a training coordinator or administrative assistant; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the coordination of activities like training.
+ Proven organizational and follow-up skills.
+ Intermediate (or better) computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Products.
+ Advanced Excel skills (using pivot tables, formatting tables/graphs, creating formulas, vlookup/hlookup).
+ Ability to communicate successfully via phone, email, and in-person to customers, technicians, and management.
+ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, managers, customers, agencies and the general public.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Human resources knowledge and experience.
+ Experience as an Office Manager or Human Resources Coordinator.
+ Compliance and administrative support experience.
Work Environment
This role is based onsite at a manufacturing facility within an office environment. The individual will interact with various teams and departments, providing a dynamic and collaborative work setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
