Job Title: Production Worker
Job Description
Join a dynamic team dedicated to developing innovative vehicle modifications that enhance the transportation of people, cargo, and equipment. As a Production Worker, you will play a crucial role in building wheelchair-accessible vans, shuttles, and transporters, working with a team to ensure vehicles move efficiently through the production line.
Responsibilities
+ Install wheelchair ramps in transit vans.
+ Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
+ Assemble components using hand and power tools.
+ Read and interpret blueprints for accurate assembly.
+ Work on the production line, maintaining a steady pace through final inspection.
+ Identify and resolve problems early in the production process.
+ Use various power tools, including bandsaws, circular saws, jig saws, routers, soldering irons, and drills.
+ Work independently and collaboratively to achieve daily production goals.
+ Track supplies and equipment, notifying the manager of inventory levels.
+ Adapt to new areas of the production line or new builds as necessary.
+ Train new hires in your area of responsibility when needed.
+ Comply with company core values and complete other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in assembly and use of hand and power tools.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints.
+ Comfortable using a measuring tape.
+ Capability to work with chemicals.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
+ Capacity to perform physical activities related to production.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Comfort with mechanical assembly and upfitting.
+ Knowledge of schematics is preferred.
+ Participation in required company safety programs, trainings, and PPE guidelines.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
