Welder Fitter - $20-23/hr+ - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter to join our team in Canton, OH. This role offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $20 to $23.08, on 3rd shift (Monday-Thursday 6:30pm-5am), or Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday 5am-5:30pm). The ideal candidate will be adept in performing MIG welding techniques primarily on structural steel and will possess strong fitting and construction skills.

Responsibilitiesc

+ Perform MIG welding on structural steel to touch up welds.

+ Fit and construct parts and frames according to specifications.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and weld prints.

+ Utilize measurement tools, hand tools, and power tools effectively.

+ Operate shop machines as necessary to complete tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding.

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in fitting.

+ Proficiency in blueprint reading.

+ Strong knowledge of hand, measurement, and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in TIG welding.

+ Ability to work with stainless steel or sheet metal welding.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.08/hr.
