Job Title: Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to service industrial overhead crane systems and hoists. The role involves performing OSHA equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency service/breakdown calls. You will also be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical adjustments or repairs and documenting service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists.

Responsibilities

+ Service industrial overhead crane systems and hoists.

+ Perform OSHA equivalent inspections and document warranty work.

+ Troubleshoot breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance.

+ Respond to emergency service/breakdown calls.

+ Perform electrical and mechanical adjustments or repairs.

+ Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience with 480v three phase electrical systems.

+ 5+ years of experience repairing and replacing motors, VFDs, contactors, and circuits.

+ Experience in overhead crane repair.

+ Ability to work at heights, specifically at the top of manufacturing facilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of electrical systems and motors.

+ Experience in crane service.

Work Environment

This is a service truck job where you are compensated drive time. Work involves traveling to various sites to perform maintenance and repairs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Northeast Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $94000.00/yr.
