    Key Responsibilities

    As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will:

    + Install, assemble, and repair sheet metal components such as HVAC ducts, flashing, and custom fittings.

    + Fabricate, measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using brakes, shears, and other tools.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.

    + Operate scissor lifts and other construction equipment safely and efficiently.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following OSHA standards and company policies.

    + Collaborate with other trades and team members to meet project deadlines.

     

    What We’re Looking For

    We’re seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic with:

    + Proven experience in commercial construction environments.

    + Strong blueprint reading and layout skills.

    + Proficiency with sheet metal tools and fabrication techniques.

    + Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.

    + Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

    + Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    Preferred Certifications

    + OSHA 10 Certification(Highly Preferred)

    + Scissor Lift Certification(Preferred)

    Work Environment

     

    This role involves working on a commercial construction site, often outdoors and at heights. Safety is our top priority, and we provide the training and equipment to keep every Sheet Metal Mechanic protected and productive.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
