Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a tenured Maintenance Technician with well-rounded electrical and hydraulic experience and previous manufacturing experience. While PLC troubleshooting is valued, it is not mandatory; however, familiarity with PLCs is important. You will be responsible for troubleshooting hydraulic circuit boards and diagnosing problems with injection molding and blow molding processes. You will rotate between three different machine groups regularly and must be able to lift 50 lbs occasionally. Candidates with leadership potential are highly valued due to internal promotion opportunities.

Responsibilities

+ Perform mechanical, electrical 480v, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair on industrial or manufacturing equipment or machinery.

+ Maintain a great attitude and resourceful nature, eager and willing to learn with a problem-solving mentality.

+ Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

+ Diagnose and repair hydraulic circuit boards and issues in injection molding and blow molding processes.

+ Rotate between three different machine groups regularly.

+ Work with 3-phase circuits and 480 voltage.

Essential Skills

+ Strong electrical 480v troubleshooting and repair skills with 3-phase wiring.

+ Experience with controls 24v, signals, relays, and tracing circuits.

+ Hydraulic diagnosing, reading prints, troubleshooting and rebuilding cylinders, and reassembling cylinders and valves.

+ Basic PLC knowledge.

+ Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Preferred background in injection or blow mold machine maintenance.

+ Ability to read hydraulic prints.

+ Comfortable reading and troubleshooting contactors.

+ Knowledge and experience with heating coils.

+ Ability to read ladder logic and programs for Fanuc robots.

+ Experience wiring in parallel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
