Job Title: X-Ray TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic medical x-rays and laboratory testing procedures in various areas including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry. This role requires a thorough understanding and adherence to proper x-ray techniques as outlined in the manual for the x-ray scope of practice. Additionally, the technician will perform phlebotomy tasks, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
Responsibilities
+ Perform diagnostic medical x-rays according to established protocols.
+ Conduct laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, and Spirometry.
+ Perform phlebotomy tasks, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks.
+ Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
+ Maintain accurate and complete records of all testing and procedures performed.
Essential Skills

+ ARRT certification
+ BXMO certification
+ BMO certification
+ RT certification
+ CPR certification
+ BLS certification
+ 1 year of experience with X-ray in a healthcare setting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate's degree
+ Graduation from a Radiology program (RT or BMO)
+ Phlebotomy experience
+ Florida Department of Health License (RT or BMO)
+ Florida Department of Health Certified Radiologic Technologist License
+ American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
+ Florida Department of Health Basic Machine Operators License for X-Ray
+ Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite in the lab with a part-time schedule: Saturday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, and Sunday from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm. The role offers a permanent position from day one and fosters a great team culture with opportunities for cross-training in lab roles.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $51979.20 - $62275.20/yr.
