WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

WORK HOURS: Full time for 36 hours a week. Evenings 12P-12A

RADIOLOGY DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

* Level I Trauma Center

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

* Other – Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required or

* Associate degree preferred.

* Other – CLIAFE; Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.

* 1-year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT – CT required or

* No experience w/ ARRT – CT required

* ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, R, upon hire required and

* ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic, CT, w/no radiology technician experience upon hire or

* ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, CT, w/1 year radiology technician experience within 12 months of hire and

* CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by TDH or TMB, upon hire and

* BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

* Imaging Quality and Processing:

* Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.

* Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.

* Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.

* Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.
