    Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic aerospace company specializing in cockpit security systems, lavatory equipment, flight controls, and interior/exterior hardware as an electro-mechanical assembler. This role involves assembling and reworking precision electronic and electromechanical components.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble and rework electronic and electromechanical precision assemblies and subassemblies, including switches, syncros, potentiometer gearboxes, and circuit boxes.

    + Utilize hand tools and light power tools such as drill press, hand grinder, and sanders.

    + Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

    + Complete soldering and wiring as required to finish the product.

    + Perform electromechanical subassembly, soldering, coil winding, and solenoid tasks.

    + Notify lead of shortages or inferior parts immediately.

    + Produce quality work with inspection checks by Assembly Lead or Quality Control.

    + Exercise good housekeeping and safety principles while completing work assignments.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2+ years of experience as an assembler in Aerospace.

    + 7+ months to 2 years of experience as an electro-mechanical or mechanical assembler.

    + Proficiency in soldering electromechanical assemblies.

    + Experience with blueprints and hand tools such as Phillips/flat screwdriver, wire stripper, nut driver, wrench, cutter, and pliers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Assembler A qualification.

    + Assembler B qualification.

    Work Environment

     

    Experience the excitement of aerospace manufacturing with exposure to machine noises and fumes typical of a production environment. Work the first shift from Monday to Friday, starting at 5am or 6am, until 2:30pm, with occasional overtime after shifts and some Saturdays.

    This is a Contract position based out of Fullerton, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
