    Controls Technician

    Description:

    If you're looking for a job ASAP and you have experience working with building automation systems, then this is the position for you! A leading construction company in Omaha is looking for Controls Technicians to join the team and assist with HVAC automation system installations. The company is looking for technicians to start right away, so we will provide a rapid interview process to get you working as soon as possible!

    Responsibilities:

    + Install conduit and wiring for devices and controllers used in Building Automation Systems

    + Mount and connect control panels, sensors, actuators, and other field devices

    + Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, and plumbing plans

    + Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure installations meet design specifications

    + Test and troubleshoot installed systems to verify proper operation

    + Document work and maintain accurate records of installations and materials used

    Skills:

    + Low-Voltage Electrical Systems

    + Control Wiring

    + HVAC and Building Automation Systems

    + Blueprint and Schematic Reading

    + Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude

    + Experience in Controls or Automation is a plus but not required

    Additional Qualifications:

    + 2+ years of experience as a Controls Technician

    + Experience with Siemens PLCs and building automation systems

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to travel to job sites across Nebraska (vehicle required)

    + Leadership ability and strong communication skills

    **Experience Level:** Intermediate–Expert Level

    **Location:** Omaha, NE (with travel to job sites in Grand Island, Beatrice, Yutan, Norfolk, and more)

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
